About AIM
AIM Physical Therapy opened in 2018 in an effort to provide Sugar Grove with a physical therapy clinic that was dedicated to putting the patient and the patient's needs first. We wanted a clinic focused on one-on-one patient care that addressed the individual needs of our patients, and allowed us sufficient time in each appointment to assess those changing needs and to get to know each patient as a whole person.
Our Story
The short story is that the six women pictured below had all worked together for several years at another physical therapy practice. Over time, we found ourselves facing changes in the way we practiced that did not align with the philosophy of patient care we had developed and valued throughout our careers.
We believed there was another way.
We believed that every patient is an individual, with unique challenges, goals and needs. We believed those challenges are best addressed in a caring, fun and less hurried environment — one that gives clinicians the time to truly get to know their patients and develop a plan of care that is both effective and realistic for that individual.
Most importantly, we wanted to create a place where patients felt known, cared for and genuinely supported throughout their recovery.
So, in 2018, the four original owners — DeeDee, Lisa, Susan and Trish — came together and created AIM Physical Therapy in Sugar Grove. Lynne and Jenna took a chance and joined us from the very beginning, becoming an important part of AIM’s success from day one.
What began as a shared vision among a small group of therapists steadily grew into a thriving practice. As our patient volume increased, so did our team. Marty, Gretchen and Rob joined us in 2019, and Dr. Stubbs joined the practice in 2020. Mike, Kathy and Kellie initially helped us on a per-diem basis as needed, and eventually Kayla and Aaron joined the team as well.
We are incredibly thankful and proud that so many of the people who helped us build AIM have remained with us throughout the years. Their commitment, experience and relationships with our patients have been an important part of what has made AIM successful and helped establish our reputation in the community. We are grateful for each and every one of them
As AIM continued to grow, our space grew with us. We completed our first build-out in 2019 and another, significantly larger expansion in 2025, that included new staff offices and an additional private treatment room.
And our story didn’t stop there…

We all shared desk space until the second expansion in 2025. This space became our second private treatment room

The new 2025 space expanded the gym area and gave the staff a completely separate and larger office space.
We had growing interest in opening a second clinic as other PT's we knew were very interested in our clinic model.
In 2022, we opened AIM Physical Therapy-Batavia, with several staff working in both clinics from time to time. This clinic has an ideal location between Batavia High School and the Randall Road Corridor. The facility is spacious and beautiful! Our clinical staff there now includes Kellie, Kathy, Bambi, Sam, Mike and Rob.

DeeDee Loughary is one of the original owners that started AIM Physical Therapy in 2018. We are pleased to officially announce the retirement of DeeDee Loughary from patient care effective November 1st, 2025. DeeDee has made this decision for personal reasons to focus on her health and well-being. We extend our gratitude to her for her years of dedication to patient care and her commitment to AIM PT
